Animal Ark - Pet Store Rebrand
Animal Ark is a small local pet store with only two location in Utah. Even between their two locations the branding is inconsistent. This project aims to create an easily applied system that can both elevate and unify the Animal Ark brand.
This rebrand was built on modular pet icons, with the primary logo being the dog and the secondary being the cat. The other icons (fish, bird, and rat) cover categories of animals found in pet stores and these icons could eventually be expanded to include more as needed.
Animal Ark positions itself opposite to large commercial pet stores by emphasizing the familial aspect of pets. Because of this I went with a blocky sort of look, reminiscent of the building blocks we give to teach children. Through these pets, customers can build out their family.
