Dune - Book Cover Redesign
Dune is a popular sci-fi book series by Frank Herbert. While this series has seen many redesigns, I wanted to do my own spin on it.
These four books were designed as a set, with each book containing one letter from the title withing the geometric sand dune design. Not only do the letters present continuity and connection between books, but the depicted dunes also line up between books.
This lining up applies to the book set in three different ways. The covers, spines, and full spread of the books can all be lined up with each other to create an artful sense of unity. I chose a design like this to show that the story continues past the well known first book.
